There was celebrations for the Hogan family from Halesowen . Amber Hogan 14yrs passed with exceptional high marks her 1st Dan Black Belt in Sankukai Karate. Amber joined the Academy July 2012 with her dad Billy and sisters Molly and Erin. Training a minimum of four times a week it was very clear early in her training that she was determined to achieve this coveted award.
Chief Instructor Rob Lock comments “Amber performed complex Katas, dynamic partner work sequences, fitness drills, sparring and wrestling rounds and knowledge of first aid. She was very confident and her techniques were superb. Amber is a credit to the Academy and is also proving to be an amazing assistant coach with the younger students, Well done and well deserved”
Molly and Erin are not too far behind their older sister, both aiming to be graded their Black Belts early next year. It must run in the family !!!
