It was a big day for 10 yr old Alexandria Banyard on the 10th May 2013. Alexandria passed her 1st Dan Black Belt in Muay Thai Boxing with excellent marks. Alex demonstrated awesome skills in punch, kick, knee and elbow drills. She also had to complete gruelling fitness tests and many rounds of sparring.
Alex’s journey to this Black belt award has been amazing. Joining as a four year old in the Little Dragons club in 2006, she has trained diligently with true committment and determination. Due to her dedication and focus to her training she achieved her Sankukai Karate Black Belt 1st Dan in March 2010 and then her 2nd Dan in Nov 2011. Alex was not going to stop there ! She was then determined to achieve the coveted Black Belt in Muay Thai Boxing. Alex on passing her Black Belt in Thai Boxing has made her one of the youngest students to achieve Black Belts in two different martial Arts at the Academy.
